Late in posting but it's been a memorable month.
Developmentally, Brooks is doing great. Eating (nursing) every 3ish hours, gets a 3 oz top off bottle at night and sleeps a good 12-13 hours. Naps 8-920 and 1230-3...somehow it's fits perfectly with the bigs' rest/nap time :). He's a champ at going with the flow--to the Y, to pick bros up from school, shopping, restaurants, happy hours . Yup. He just goes wherever mama goes and I love it. Sometimes I tell Caleb he's my best friend bc really, we are pretty inseparable.
Crazy how #3 does that, but I adore him.
He started rolling tummy to back and had a good 4-5 day stretch where he would wake up crying and want to be back on his back. He's now transitioned though and is a tummy sleeper and definitely a thumb sucker.
He is the happiest baby and smiles at everyone. Loves his brothers and watches their antics. Is very ticklish and laughs belly laughs when changing clothes bc he's ticklish.
He celebrated his first Easter. On Good Friday he went to Seguin with me and aunt Ali to visit Grandaddy. It was a sweet sweet visit. Grandaddy was sleeping but when we walked in he woke up just a little but wasn't too talkative...until I got Brooks out of his car seat. He stuck his hands out to hold him and he just talked to him. He loved him and adored him. We knew this was our goodbye with Grandaddy but glad we got to spend an entire day just sitting with him. Brooks would sleep in his car seat, Grandaddy would sleep and occasionally wake up and talk, it was a good visit. Grandaddy went to be with Jesus 3 weeks later and we are praising God that he is in no more pain and reunited with our Mamie.
Here are month 5 pics...
